Thanks to our Bollywood Stars Dimple Kapadia, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Nigam and Twinkle Khanna who were at the CPAA event. They brought cheers to terminally ill patients in western Mumbai on national Cancer Rose Day.
The occasion marked the National Cancer Rose Day.
The Rose Day Mela (event) was organised by Cancer Patients Aid Association
(CPAA). More than 500 cancer patients and their relatives took part in the
function.
A host of film stars attended the rose day celebrations and brought cheer
to the patients.The patients danced to lively Bollywood film songs, played games, got
tattooed and enjoyed snacks.
Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal was seen interacting with the children. Rampal
said he was humbled by the noble efforts of the CPAA.
“It is a very noble effort and very few people do such a good work. I
really feel small in front of such people who dedicate their lives to such a
wonderful cause and do selfless service. I congratulate them as they have
helped so many cancer patients for so many years,” said Rampal.
Bollywood actor Dimple Kapadia who came along with her daughter Twinkle
said that the film fraternity would continue to support such social
causes.
“I think that the people in the industry are responsible towards a
social cause. Our industry has been supporting and will support such socially
relevant causes,” said Kapadia.

It was the most memorable event.
The annual event National Cancer Rose Day is a way of showing cancer
patients that they are cared for besides raising cancer awareness in the
country.
On the day all cancer patients are greeted with a lovely rose flower to
convey a message that the society cares for them.
